Carol Mitchell is Assistant Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Her primary research interests are in the evaluation of plaque characteristics and composition to assess the extent of flow limitations and to evaluate for patients’ vulnerability to plaque—with the goal of identifying patients who may benefit from more aggressive management.
